Happy New Year everyone and welcome back to The Dream Room! I believe each year is special as we walk through it and 2022 is no different. I see this year being an abundant year of direction and creativity but did you know that the number 22 also means light? If there is light then there is revelation and if there is revelation then there are mysteries being revealed!
For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light. Mark 4:22
Dreams are great ways for God to reveal to us His mysteries. So in light (pun intended) of this New Year being a year of light, revelation, and revealing of mysteries, I believe it is important for us to make sure we stay strong in the basic light of dreams. So let’s not only see what’s new for us but let’s not forget the basics.
Here are some Basics of Dreams that we need to always remember:
- A Dream is NOT meant to have a negative impact on our lives.
- A Dream is NOT meant to be a lie but instead to reveal a true message from The True One.
- Dreams can help us live our lives better when we know how to view them correctly. Then we can act accordingly to grow and mature in Godly Wisdom.
Although it may seem unlikely, nightmares and painful dreams of our soul are meant to reveal a truth that is hidden that is to encourage us and help us know and grow maturely. The only way to do this is to understand how to view these dreams first. If we see these types of dreams as negative automatically it’s because we haven’t been taught how to see them in the light of Truth. (read my blog Faith Built for more understanding)
God wants to reveal many things to us this year and in order for us to even see those mysteries being revealed, we must see with our true eyes of light and block out the shadows that try to force us into believing a lie. We also need to be reminded to look with those same eyes beyond the emotions of our soulish dreams as God is there even still ready with another revelation that can break us out of bondage. How can we do that when our emotions are louder than anything at that time? The revealing will come in the wait. It isn’t in the weight of the world that you chose to carry but in that time of waiting where we can choose to let go and God will remove it from our shoulders.
As we all step into another day of this 2022 new year, let’s move past the resolutions and let God reveal to us how we can be a part of the solutions. He is showing them to us in our dreams…
