Have you ever had to wax your floors? You know, that kind of floor you pour liquid wax onto and mop it on to seal the floors and make them look shiny? After a time of several coats of wax, you have to put down a wax stripper to get off all of the old wax in order to get down to the original flooring. Then, you can start over with a coat of new wax so that the floors don’t just keep building up waxy layers or the floors will lose their vivid colors and patterns. It kind of reminds me of the old karate movie line “wax on…wax off”.
This type of maintenance is what is going to be happening to some of us in our dreams.
In my last blog, I told you that God won’t let anything new be built upon tainted grounds that He has turned over to us in this new season and we are going to have to actively manage some parts of the maintenance ourselves. Although God is doing His great part in this to help us, here is where our part comes into play. For some of us, God is going to strip down our dreams to get to the point. Some of us still need to do what He has been trying to tell us to do in order for this new place we have entered to be alive, active, and profitable for the Glory of God. We have been missing the point, not understanding or simply ignoring what we should have taken care of. However, God is on it! He truly loves us and wants to see His new plan for us come alive!
What does this look like in our dreams? When God strips our dreams down it means they will be clear and to the point and we will wake up from these dreams knowing exactly what He is telling us, without an interpretation. “Here’s your sign”, if you will. We don’t need to overthink the dream once we wake up, but simply find someone who will help to confirm it IF we really need it. It should be a no-brainer, and it will be up to us (our choice) to follow the instructions God gives us if we want His new blueprints to become a reality in this new place in our lives in this new time. Don’t you just Love the Love of God that He will take the time to help us so hopefully no one is left behind?
Let’s all be in prayer for one another during this time, even if it isn’t you that is having the dreams. We don’t always know the stories of others and why they have missed, delayed, or misunderstood God’s message. Let’s continue to build each up with the love and strength that God has given us in order to help those who need it.
I was suggested this blog via my cousin. I am no longer positive whether this post is written through him as nobody else
recognise such exact about my difficulty. You are wonderful!
Thank you!
